Lose internet long enough for downloads and movie streaming to fail? - streaming nightmare campus

I had problems with downloading and video in real time in the last year. such as web browsing, I can not see or the loss of the Internet while on Xbox Live, but if the attempt to create a file that takes eventualy say more than a few minutes to download, the server was reset, nothing is 10 MB almost impossible for download. and the movie in real time is a nightmare to see on average only about 5 minutes video (whatever it is (YouTube, Dailymotion, YouTube)) before, and says the buffer but the video will not start until you Web page and go directly to the point I was, sometimes I can make up to 30 minutes without another occasion to renew their problems less than 5 seconds before it crashed.
seems to lose connection to the Internet long enough to download or stream, notbut not enough, you can not search my site this site will be found
I have Internet access at home, is what is happening on all computers on XP or Vista. Drivers are all updated. not all browsers, Firefox, Chrome and IE6 / 7 can I do?

I would like to continue to a ping in a command window, ping a website such as www.yahoo.com and wait to see, create, if the pings stop by regularly. If you talk for a while and see a picture of how often this happens, then the ISP can offer such a problem with the service they have.

Open a command prompt and type:

ping-t www.yahoo.com

and let them run one or two hours, while you watch.

To finish the table, simply press Ctrl-C to show the statistics of the ping session.

When you see that the pings are not systematically over time, then inform your ISP so that they can resolve their service.
